PACKING MT 278

The MT 278 gasket is made of sheets of soft white metal on a central core of graphitized and lubricated asbestos-free fibers. Each core is additionally lubricated.

Materials for its manufacture: lead sheet, silica core, mineral lubricant, flake graphite .

Applications of MS 278 Packing

Recommended for centrifugal pumps and handling of distilled oils, thermal, abrasive and especially viscous fluids ( tars, tars and petroleum derivatives ), pasty liquids or liquids with a tendency to crystallize.
