BARLAN 1200 PLUS – INSULATING SHEET
- The BARLAN 1200 PLUS sheet is a new thermal and electrical insulating cardboard for high temperatures (1,100ºC, and peaks of use of 1,200ºC), with greater mechanical resistance, harder and with less surface dust, which together with a very low Thermal conductivity and high dimensional stability make it the ideal material for most electrical and thermal insulation applications.
- In addition, the new 1200 PLUS sheet is manufactured with 100% fibers exempted according to directive 67/548 / EEC.

BARLAN 1200 PLUS applications
- Alumina and aluminum. It is used in most of the melting processes but also to form different parts of the cells.
- Iron and steel. Applications similar to joints in the casting process. Particular interest in the centrifugal process of alloyed tubes.
- Oil and gas burners. From large industrial capacity burners to domestic boilers for hot water and heaters. In this case BARLAN is also used in the body of the heater.
- Furnace construction. As an insulating material but also as a material to mark expansion points between the refractory.
- Ceramic industry. As a support for ceramic pieces entering kilns.
- General insulation and heat protection. Also protection from welds and sparks generated in braking systems.
- Filler of metallic joints as a filler in metallic and semi-metallic joints.
- Glass industry . As washers to form flat glass transport rollers.
- Stainless steel . Joints are manufactured to form rollers in the heat treatment lines where the steel is transported.
