BARLAN 1200 PLUS – INSULATING SHEET

The BARLAN 1200 PLUS sheet is a new thermal and electrical insulating cardboard for high temperatures (1,100ºC, and peaks of use of 1,200ºC), with greater mechanical resistance, harder and with less surface dust, which together with a very low Thermal conductivity and high dimensional stability make it the ideal material for most electrical and thermal insulation applications.
In addition, the new 1200 PLUS sheet is manufactured with 100% fibers exempted according to directive 67/548 / EEC.

BARLAN 1200 PLUS applications

Alumina and aluminum. It is used in most of the melting processes but also to form different parts of the cells.
Iron and steel. Applications similar to joints in the casting process. Particular interest in the centrifugal process of alloyed tubes.
Oil and gas burners. From large industrial capacity burners to domestic boilers for hot water and heaters. In this case BARLAN is also used in the body of the heater.
Furnace construction. As an insulating material but also as a material to mark expansion points between the refractory.
Ceramic industry. As a support for ceramic pieces entering kilns.
General insulation and heat protection. Also protection from welds and sparks generated in braking systems.
Filler of metallic joints as a filler in metallic and semi-metallic joints.
Glass industry . As washers to form flat glass transport rollers.
Stainless steel . Joints are manufactured to form rollers in the heat treatment lines where the steel is transported.
