BELPAFLON PL-9006-LC EXPANDED TEFLON® PTFE
- Polytetrafluouroethylene ( PTFE ) expanded , also called expanded Teflon®, is a material that has an extremely broad chemical resistance (only attack molten alkali metals and fluorine gas) and excellent dielectric and non-stick properties .
- It is a PTFE Teflon® sheet with an addition of special particles to increase resistance to hot creep.
- Gasket material with excellent chemical resistance, including acids and alkalis in high concentrations (sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrogen chloride, potassium hydroxide).
- The Belpaflon PL9600 LC is specially designed for services in which chemical attack is combined with a low tightening (plastic ties).
- It is easy to cut and is easily removed from the flange due to its antistick properties.
- Expanded Teflon® is recommended especially in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries, glass, ceramic, plastic or phenolic flanges.
