FIR X 10 · SILICONE COATED FIBERGLASS
High temperature silicone coated fiberglass
This gasket is manufactured with a textured type (E) fiberglass core of between 6 and 9 microns, non-breathable and impregnated with graphite. Continuous temperature of 450ºC for continuous use and peaks of 600ºC.
The core is covered with neutral high-temperature silicone resistant continuously to 250ºC and peaks of 300ºC. The silicone gives it elasticity, making it easier to assemble and join the ends of the cord.
It does not fray, it does not itch or irritate the skin, it does not release breathable fibers during handling.
It is a non-combustible joint, it is anti-fire.
