Expanded Mineral Graphite Packing for Valves
The MG-780-R gasket is made from
pure mineral graphite expanded of the highest quality, with Inconel .
The MG-780-R gasket has the API607 fire test (API 589 edition fire safe test approval) that allows its use in highly responsible equipment.

In order to achieve greater resistance to pressure for use in valves, the braid incorporates Inconel wires of 0.1 mm in diameter, thus reducing the possibility of expansion
of the braid.
In applications such as reciprocating pumps, gate valves, control valves and in conditions where clearances are greater than 0.35 mm, the use of anti-extrusion rings made of graphite filament braid is recommended. , reference MG-420.
