GASKET MG 880 R
GRAFOIL® Expanded Mineral Graphite Packing
The packing MG-880-R is made from expanded pure mineral graphite from GRAFOIL®, with corrosion inhibitor and reinforced with wire from Inconel .
The advantages of expanded pure mineral graphite are:

- Compatible with most fluids
- Unlimited storage period
In order to achieve greater resistance to pressure for use in valves, Inconel wires of 0.1 mm in diameter are incorporated into the braid, thus reducing the possibility of material loss .
Despite this characteristic, in applications such as reciprocating pumps, gate valves, control valves and in conditions where the clearances are greater than 0.35 mm , we recommend the use of rings anti-extrusion of graphite filament braid, reference MG-420
