CHARACTERISTICS OF RTJ JOINTS

The RTJ joints (Ring Type Joint) are metal joints suitable for high pressures:
- Up to 20,000# (lbs or pounds, approx 1,400 bars) of pressure
- High temperatures up to 1000ºC
RTJ joints are used in combination with special flanges that ensure a correct seal.
There are several profiles for the section:
- RTJ Oval
- RTJ Octagonal
